Printing Faq - Yale School of Art

Printing at the School of Art is available only to graduate students and those students currently enrolled in a School of Art class.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRIVERS AND PRINTERS ON PERSONAL COMPUTERS.

1) Download the folder for your department which contains printer drivers and an installer that will install the printers.

NOTE ABOUT GOOGLE CHROME: IT IS RECOMMENDED TO DOWNLOAD FROM SAFARI OR FIREFOX. IF YOU DOWNLOAD FROM GOOGLE CHROME YOU WILL NEED TO CONTROL CLICK AND CHOOSE “OPEN LINK IN INCOGNITO WINDOW” IN ORDER TO DOWNLOAD.

2) Run the printer driver installers in folder #1.

3) Run the printer installer app in folder #2.

4) Go to System Preferences / Printers & Scanners / and verify printers installed

ALL OF THESE PRINTERS CAN BE PRINTED TO BY PRINTING FROM SCHOOL OF ART COMPUTER LABS IN ADDITION TO PRINTING FROM YOUR PERSONAL COMPUTERS.
