Alvin Ashiatey, Lecturer in Graphic DesignAlvin Ashiatey is a designer from Tema, Ghana, now based in New Haven, Connecticut. He earned his BFA from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2015 and his MFA from Yale University in 2022. Alvin was the inaugural Blended Reality Postgraduate Fellow for both the Yale School of Art and the Yale Center for Collaborative Arts and Media. He has also taught at Mason Gross and Rutgers University. Alvin’s work blends Ghanaian influences with a combination of technology.
