Metal and wood shops are located at 36 Edgewood Avenue (ground floor, room 110) as well as a small, satellite woodshop at 353 Crown Street.
The Edgewood Fabrication shop is now open for training for any interested MFA students. Training sessions will take place in September and early October and will be offered again in late October / early November.
There are separate trainings offered in wood and metal. Please note, the deadline to sign up for the first round of training sessions is Monday, September 14 at midnight. Training sessions will be conducted by Demond Lewis, Sculpture Faculty, and Michel Fadel, Sculpture Technician, in the Edgewood Fabrication shop.
Three students will be allowed in each session, and availability of requested training session time slots is first-come, first-serve. Only students who have been trained may use the shops. The shops will be available by appointment only for Fall 2020, and further details about signing up for shop time will follow training.
