The Yale School of Art is excited to welcome the long-awaited GEM (Gallery & Exhibitions Manager) and announce changes to the roles in the Dean’s Office.
On November 25, Ben Weathers joined us as the new Gallery Exhibition Manager. Ben comes to Yale with an extensive background working in museums and galleries. He will report to the dean and work closely with the School community to manage all aspects of installation and operations of the exhibition spaces. Special thanks to Sarah Stevens-Morling and the search committee for their recruitment, interviewing, and recommendation.
Annie Lin, who began in August 2022 as the project specialist, will assume a new role as the Director of Community Engagement and Strategies to focus on projects, initiatives, and liaising with the community. Annie will continue to oversee the student, alumni, and faculty grant programs and serve as a School of Art partner for strategic committees at the University and beyond. As part of this new role, Annie will supervise the administrative support for the Committee for Art Recognizing Enslavement (CARE) as well as direct the administrative work for the Dean’s Office.
