PANTHEON
Everyone at Yale with a NetID and email address also has an account on the Pantheon.
There is extensive documentation available from ITS on Pantheon use and software. To connect on a Mac, start in the Finder. From the Go menu choose Connect to Server… and then enter smb://pantheon.its.yale.edu/yournetidgoeshere (replacing yournetidgoes here with your own NetID).
When the login window appears enter your NetID as username and your password in the password box. Here you can choose to have the computer remember your password, but only do this on your own personal computer.
Once you have logged in a volume will appear on the desktop labeled with your NetID. You can drag files to and from there to copy them to and from the Pantheon.

BERT
Any student in the School of Art can request an account on Bert, our primary web and file server.
In addition to student websites and class files you can find printer drivers and software updates on Bert in the Public folder.
To connect to Bert you can point your FTP software (or Connect to Server… as with the Pantheon) to bert.art.yale.edu and then login with the username and password you set up previously.
Anything in your Public or Sites folder on Bert is viewable to other users. Items in Sites are automatically published online to http://bert.art.yale.edu/~<username>/<filename>
