Sculpture ART 348, Body, Space, and Time
An interdisciplinary approach to time-based work with a focus on video, performance, installation and sound. Over the course of the term, students develop and expand individual artistic concerns through in-class workshops, video screenings and group discussions of student projects. A broad spectrum of related artist videos and performances will be screened and discussed, including the practices of artists such as Paul McCarthy, Francis Alÿs and Sharon Hayes among others. Materials Fee: $75. Enrollment limited to 12. Prerequisite: Art 122 or equivalent, or permission of instructor.
