SCULPTURE, ART 210, Sculpture as Object
This introductory sculpture course is a studio-based forum focused on the use of three-dimensional form in art-making. We will explore our experience of objects in space, both made and found, and investigate the different ways they can be used, suggested, problematized, absent from, and at the center of work called sculpture. Group discussion and critiques, screenings, and readings complement studio work. The shops and the studio are available during days and evenings throughout the week. Enrollment limited to twelve.Materials fee: $75.
